People have been drawn to this bar for its unique ability to fold up or down to be out of the way as well as side to side to make transfers within the bathroom much easier. It should be noted however that a bar like this one is far more weight bearing than most grab bars and requires additional backing and support in the wall. It would be unwise to go with anyone other than a professional grab bar installation specialist to install a grab bar such as this.
